Forbes has released its list profiling the leading ladies on the big screen who pocket the big bucks.

Leading on the list is Sandra Bullock who made a whopping sum of $51 million thanks to her Oscar nominated role in Gravity.

The movie made $716 million at the global box office and she walked away with a ton of money.

Next to Sandra is Jennifer Lawrence, who has had a successful couple of years with the Hunger Games franchise and her role in X-Men.

Meet The Woman Married To Odulade Adekola, Says They Have Never Quarrelled For A Day

Ruth Abosede Adekola is married to star actor, Odulade Adekola. According to her, they met at a church night vigil in 1995 and the actor proposed to her shortly after that. Ruth described her husband as her rock and says he also sees her like a semi-god and loves her to a fault. She also explains how she has been able to deal with gossips that surrounds are husband. The couple are blessed with three boys. Her words;

I don’t feel bad because I know what he is capable of. Some women are not in any relationship let alone marriage, all they are after is how to ruin the ones that are going on smoothly, so, I don’t bother myself about side talks, and if there is anything I heard that is not pleasant to me, I walk up to him to know the truth, and he will never hesitate to tell me the truth, and we both settle it amicably. I want to tell you that we’ve not quarrelled for once before and we will never do such by God’s grace. He is just too playful. Giant Whale Shark Caught In China By Local Fisher Man

These amazing pictures shows a two-tonne whale shark being driven through a town in China strapped to a fisherman's truck who had caught it when the whale broke into his giant net to eat the fishes it had caught but died soon afterwards.

Speaking to local news station Cai Chengzhu said he and his colleagues had been hauling their net out of the water when they noticed a gaping hole in the side. It's believed that the giant creature broke the net and got inside to eat the fishes we caught before it died, he said.

Cai then strapped the whale to his truck and drove towards the market before officials from the Fujian fisheries department stepped in because it is illegal to either buy or sell whale sharks in China, where they are classed as protected.

They had planned to sell the gigantic fish, thought to be a juvenile, between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan (£960-£1920).

David Christie, 38, captured the stunning footage of the fist-like wind funnel as it punched its way through the dark clouds above his home and says he thinks it’s the ‘hand of God’.

"I love weather photography and I've taken a few pictures of small wind funnels in the past. But this was something else. It looked as though there was a huge hand piercing through the clouds - it was phenomenal. It really did seem like the hand of God. My wife and I are both photographers and we've never seen anything like this. This was a very surreal experience.  I'm so glad I decided to capture it on video", he said.

Actress Chika Ike Doesn't Want Her Husband To Be From Nollywood

Nigerian actress Chika Ike has revealed she would not like her future husband to be from Nollywood industry.
According to Nigeriafilms, the movie diva attributed it to the fact that spouses working in different spheres have a better balance and understanding in the family.
The 28-year-old was quoted saying:

“Personally, I wouldn’t want my lover to be in the same industry with me so that we can have a balanced family. I can’t even imagine marrying somebody having my type of schedule; it will be difficult to manage. And that’s the reason I admire Joke Silva and Olu Jacobs; it is amazing how they handled it over the years.”
Chika, who is already a UN Ambassador and the founder of the Chika Ike (Help A Child) Foundation, also revealed that she was also considering going into real estate business which pays well.
The actress, who has recently celebrated another achievement by graduating from the US Film Academy, and her ex-husband broke up in 2011.
When once asked if she thought of reconciling with her former spouse, Chika replied with the firm “no” saying that she had left those relationships in the past.

So sad: Fast rising singer Bbee dies at 30

Promising musical artist Blessing Eloho popularly known as Bbee has died. The singer died on Sunday July 27th after a brief illness just days after she returned from a trip to the US. The Delta state born, Lagos State University graduate was only 30 years old. Too sad! May her soul rest in peace, Amen. ...

Bbee was born into the of family Eruoghos from Ughelli North LGA of Delta. She has a background in Economics from the Lagos State University. Bbee discovered her love for singing as a little child in the church choir, afterward she moved into the adult choir even as a little girl and was referred to as "golden voice" because she was that unique. Music grew in her, which led her in joining a singing band in high school.

She has a special way of singing her school's anthem, that gave her several recognition and award from the school authority. Upon graduation, she pursued her love for music, singing as backup singer with great Nigeria artists such as Onyeka Onwenu, Sammy Okposo, and Stella Damasus. She was once in the top 20 of the very first Nigeria Idol. Came as a 1st Runner up of the only Sony Ericsson singing competition and moved to form her own band, that played  in Sheraton Hotel and Towers for several years.

With this, the suit will most likely be struck out as 2face is said to have accepted the apology.

Accessories You Must Have to Enrich Your Outfit

Accessories are very important as they give your outfit that special touch.  Nowadays you can use almost everything as accessory: jewelry, bags, hats, sunglasses, watches, hair-bands and so on. Here are three different types that I like very much:

• 1) Jewelry

Jewelry is the classic amongst the accessories. There are no boundaries set to your imagination. You can wear rings, necklaces, earrings etc. My favorites for the time being are big statement necklaces and little small golden rings. With a necklace you can turn any simple outfit in a special look.

 

If you prefer smaller accessories than you should opt for these new little rings you wear on the upper part of your fingers. They give your outfit a sophisticated touch and show that you are a real fashion expert. If you think a statement necklace is too much but just the rings are too little, then you could use nail polish in an intense color like blazing red, combined with filigree rings.

• 2) Hats, caps and beanies

If you are not quite the jewelry-type but don’t want to renounce completely to accessories, then hats, caps and beanies are a good alternative. Hats give your outfit a bohemian touch, especially the floppy hats. Caps and beanies stand for sporty and casual looks. But also here you can play with flashy colors to achieve a casual but exciting outfit.

• 3) Belts

Belts offer a big variety of different types, for examples girdles or belts for the waist. The last ones are very nice in combination with a rather loose-fitting dress. In this way, you can shape your silhouette with a belt. You can choose if you prefer smaller or bigger ones. Girdles are good for jeans. The can also bring out the nice shape of your body.
