Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to attend an NBA game in New York next month.
The royal couple - who are currently expecting their second child -
will watch Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James, one of the league's
most iconic players, take on the Brooklyn Nets during their first visit
to New York City in December.
They will appear at the Barclays Centre "to help launch a new
collaboration between the Royal Foundation, United for Wildlife and the
NBA".
However, Prince William and his wife will not be travelling with
their 16-month-old son Prince George, who is to be left at home with his
nanny.
The visit will also see the couple attend a number of other formal
engagements, including a reception "celebrating the wealth of British
talent in the creative industries based in New York".
The announcement comes shortly after One Direction congratulated the Duchess of Cambridge on her second pregnancy.
