A few days ago we reported the shocking news that, Afrobeat king Femi Kuti had found out two of his five kids were not his.Not long after that he took to twitter to express his displeasure over the reports, he also said the incident happened 8 years ago.
He wrote,
I live with my children and those that know me know how much I love them. It’s someone trying to be mischievous cause they know the love I have for my children and r trying hurt me. And the story is 8years old. I don’t need that kind of news to make me famous. My music does enough for me and I’m content. I didn’t grant an interview. My management is taking the matter up
He later deleted those tweets, Encomium originally ran the story on November 27 2014, saying Femi had granted them the interview. After Femi kicked up a fuss they amended the story to show that it was originally published in 2008. SMH!
Femi Kuti also expressed displeasure with some blogs (not us) who had published pictures of his children alongside the story. Putting the pics of his kids up was insensitive.
